What Our Residents Say

"Compassionate and helpful staff who made my 90-year-old dad’s transition to Wynwood Greenhills pleasant. He likes the food and attention he gets from the staff who assist him. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs to place a family member."

- Bob Burbidge

"My wife's grandmother was a resident at Salem Hill, and we always  felt that they treated her like family. They always listened to her input on many many many things and she truly felt at home there.  We will be sending my wife's parents there when they are ready."

- AJ Racioppi

"The fellow that owns Wynwood House is very nice. My aunt and uncle had been there, so I knew the place and I knew them well. The owner was actually willing to hold the room for me until we convinced my mother to move in. He was just so easy to deal with. The room was just right; it was absolutely fine. The size was fine too. You can have a bed, a dresser, a night table, two chairs, and a TV. They actually were re-painting and re-carpeting the room. They do have a lot of activities for people who want to participate. I saw people in the great room that they have for everybody. They take residents to doctors' appointments (they charge to do that if you can't). They have all sorts of recreational activities and they have somebody that comes in and plays the piano. It was very nice."

"The people at Wynwood House are very personable. They have made my father very comfortable and I would recommend them. The staff is very kind and courteous. He enjoys the food and is very pleased with the menu selection. They take very good care of him and there seems to be a lot of staff there. They also take care of his medication on time and do his laundry. It's a brand new place. So, all the furniture is very nice and the size of the room is good. They have activities like some different study groups and an exercise program. We're very, very pleased with Wynwood House."

"Wynwood House - State College was very nice. The lady who toured me here was fantastic. She was very accommodating for everything. They had lots of stuff, like a hair salon and activities with the residents. They had a craft room for the women. It was very beautifully laid out. The only thing I didn't like was where the dining room was and how it was set up. They were long tables that were almost off of the lobby. All the other places I visited had individual tables, with maybe four residents able to sit at each one. So, I just didn't prefer the long table seating, but the place was beautiful. It's newer and the residents walking around were all very friendly. The staff was also very nice."
